Can you offer a damaged or incomplete console?
Yes. In the request, indicate which situation best describes the equipment:
- It powers on and displays an image.
- It powers on but does not read discs or has intermittent faults.
- It does not power on, or its condition is unknown.
- Controllers, cables, covers, or other components are missing.
- You only have accessories, games, or memory cards.
You do not need to open the console to submit the request. Photos of the equipment, its model label, and the available accessories help with evaluation without assuming that repair is simple or possible.
Parts and accessories worth including
Gather whatever you still have, even if the set is incomplete:
- A PlayStation 2 or PS2 Slim console.
- A DUALSHOCK 2 or other compatible controllers.
- The power cord and audio/video cable.
- Memory cards.
- Original games, manuals, and cases.
- Adapters or other identifiable accessories.
Pack each item so connectors and discs are protected. If a cable is frayed, a case is broken, or the equipment smells burnt, do not plug it in; disclose that condition in the proposal.
