If you request this option, you must provide the USB drive or external hard drive at the time of donation or later. Crezendo copies the recovered information but does not provide the storage device.

Do not provide passwords unless they are technically necessary and agreed with you. Tell us in advance if the computer contains business or especially sensitive information.

Download the recovered files, keep your own backup and confirm that you can open them. Link availability and any later step are coordinated directly with you.
What if the hard drive is physically damaged?
Some cases are more complex. Physical damage to a hard drive can significantly complicate recovery and, in some situations, may prevent data from being recovered. For that reason, no recovery result can be guaranteed before the drive is inspected.
That does not mean we give up: we will carefully evaluate the case and do everything within our technical capabilities to recover as much information as the condition of the drive allows.
