Open that drawer. The one full of cables you can't identify. Chargers for phones you no longer own. A wireless mouse you don't use because you bought a better one. An extra keyboard that came with the desktop and you never plugged in. Headphones with one side that doesn't work.
That drawer is a treasure for Crezendo.
Accessories matter more than you think
When people think about tech donations, they think about the main devices: laptops, phones, tablets. But accessories are just as critical. A phone without a charger is useless. A desktop without a keyboard is a brick. A student who needs a mouse and doesn't have one works slower.
At Crezendo, donated accessories are used in three ways:
1. Completing donated devices Every laptop we donate needs a charger. Every desktop needs a keyboard and mouse. Every phone needs a cable and adapter. The accessories you donate complete the devices others donated.
2. Replacing damaged parts A student breaks a cable — we replace it from inventory. A charger burns out — there's another one available. Having an accessories stockpile means devices stay functional.
3. Practice material In electronics and repair workshops, cables, connectors, and components are teaching material. Students learn to solder, diagnose, and repair with real parts.

"But they're just cables"
Yes, and that's exactly why they're so valuable. Cables are the most consumable elements in technology. They get lost, broken, lent out and never returned. A new USB-C charger costs $10-25 in Panama. For a student who doesn't have that $10, a donated charger is the difference between having a working device and having one that can't be charged.
Adapters are especially scarce. A student who receives a laptop with only USB-C ports needs an HDMI adapter to connect to an external monitor. That adapter costs $15-30. We have it in inventory thanks to donations like yours.
Why people don't donate accessories (and why they should)
Most people donate the main device but keep the accessories "just in case." The spare charger, the backup cable, the old mouse — they stay in the drawer "in case I need them someday."
That day never comes. And when the next cleanup happens, everything goes in the trash.
Accessories have zero resale value in Panama's secondhand market. A loose charger won't sell. An old mouse won't sell. But for Crezendo, each one has direct, immediate value.
How to deliver your accessories
The advantage of accessories is they're easy to transport:
In Panama City: If you're donating a main device, include all the accessories. If you only have accessories, coordinate with us anyway — we'll pick them up.
In the interior of the country: Put them in a bag or box and ship via courier. Shipping is cheap because they weigh almost nothing.
From abroad: Our Miami address works for everything:
Alejandro Sánchez / RE577 15421 SW 26TH TER - RE577 Miami, FL 33185-4866 United States Phone: +1 305 848 1127
Clean drawer, clear conscience
Clearing out all those cables and chargers doesn't just free up space — it gives purpose to things that were collecting dust. Every charger you donate completes a device. Every cable connects a student.
Message us on WhatsApp and we'll coordinate.
